Looking for a stopover? This hotel is perfectly situated! It's just off the motorway, with stunning views up in the hills. the rooms are well-appointed with lovely traditional decor and the staff are young and friendly. the food is good and well-priced, with a set menu that won't break the bank. Breakfast is standard, but ample. Perfect for a rest on a long journey.
There seems to be a lack of assistance for those with mobility issues.

The view from the room was stunning, especially of the chimneys in the distance. The food at the restaurant was really nice and great value for money. The staff were friendly and kept a good atmosphere. It was also a good location for a stopover when travelling North or South.
Our Christmas stay at this hotel was not great. The room seemed basic, and there was only one pillow for each of us.
